Silt Fence
Coleman Moore Company’s silt fence is Willacoochee Industrial Fabrics, Inc. Style 1215 D. It is approved for use on both the Iowa Department of Transport and SUDAS specifications. It is listed in the Iowa Department of Transportation Materials. IM 496.01 Appendix A under Silt Fence 4196.01A.   The use of multiple rows of silt are used to ensure no sediment reaches the street and storm sewer (above left). When installed correctly silt fence can hold several tons of sediment (above right). |
