GEOWEB Geocells are three-dimensional cellular confinement systems made from high-density polyethylene or Novel Polymeric Alloy strips welded into an expandable honeycomb structure. Filled with soil or aggregate, they stabilize ground surfaces, reinforce slopes, support heavy loads, and control erosion on flat terrain, embankments, and steep grades.

A geotextile is a flat, permeable fabric used for filtration, separation, or drainage between soil layers. A geocell is a three-dimensional honeycomb structure that confines soil or aggregate within its cells to provide structural reinforcement and load distribution. The two are often used together — a nonwoven geotextile beneath a geocell improves performance and reduces aggregate requirements.

Geocells reinforce subgrade soils under driveways, parking lots, and access roads, reducing aggregate use and extending pavement life.

Used in emergency vehicle access areas, nature trails, and sports fields to provide stable, load-bearing ground surfaces for public use.

Three-dimensional geocells confine soil on embankments and steep slopes, preventing erosion and maintaining structural integrity over time.

Developers and contractors use geocells to stabilize weak subgrades on commercial sites, reducing costs and accelerating construction schedules.
